Finn's sleeping environment is a snowball of distractions in an otherwise calming corner.
Some of the coolest distractions come in the form of the stand alone polka dot wearing elephant and the hippo as part of a blanket...a blanket hippo if you will.
UPDATE: Note that there has been some scholarly debate over the true species of the blue beast attached to the blanket (maybe it's a bear...I mean sure bears aren't blue, but hippos don't have fur), so we have shipped some hair samples off to the DNA lab. Results will be reported on this page. For more on the animals, visit their page.

Finn rockin' out with his new iPod Shuffle.
Yes we know you think it's weird to get a 7 week old his own iPod, but hear us out. We have some musical taste, and every device we buy Finn be it a swing, a rocker, or his favorite play mat comes with some crazy battery powered synth version of a kids song or Mozart snippet which repeats infinitely and drives your brain cells to strangle your ears. They also chew through double A batteries like a chainsaw. With the iPod Shuffle we are loading it up with some of his favorite tunes as well as REAL versions of the Mozart songs he likes so much now. It is really a sanity move on our part. Oh and don't worry, Finn made sure to get his Comcast corporate discount.
Finn cooks a great meal for mom and dad. (See! Sometimes we don't eat cereal for dinner.) Finn knows it's all in the presentation.
Jenny and Finn video chat with Sam in Sydney who just woke up from a hard night on the town (it's only 1pm where he is). Note poor old Compy 386 gathering dust in the rear left of this shot.
UPDATE: This piece of mail arrived after we first posted this page.
To the editor,
I refute the claim that it was a hard night on the town...I was the one who came home early. 5am (our approximate home time for Jennifer) is a hard night on the town. In fact, anything less than $200 spent and a dodgy donner kebab or hot dog is considered hard night lite.
