Close up Finn. What big EYES you have...
Finn's activity saucer is a wonder of modern living [view from above to really appreciate the many activities available: Mommy and batteries not included].
One of the favorite features of the Finn Saucer 5000 is the Smiling Sun Guy on a Stick™.
Another clever feature of the saucer is the iPod control set disguised as colorful animals. Finn hits the purple button most often, eliciting in order either "mmmooooo", "cow", "vaca" (Spanish for Cow and sounds like Laca to us), and then a short rendition of "old Macdonald had a farm...". Soon we will switch these buttons out for tom-toms, kick, snare and hi-hat or just to control his iPod Shuffle.
Speaking of his iPod, note than today Finn is enjoying the latest album from Franz Ferdinand, an album he gave his uncle Pat for Christmas. Rock on Pat!
One of the most interesting aspects of parenting that we did not expect is the arrival of many bags full of bears. A Bag-O-Bears can be used in many different ways...on different play machines, as door stops or even over fava beans with a nice Chianti. Great matching outfits boys!
SuperFinn in action. Note the outstretched legs a full 6 inches off the couch!
Winter did hit us in December quite fiercely with little snow, but many days maxing out in the mid 20s F (-5 degrees Celcius). Here is one of the small snows we did get before Tom shovelled the driveway.
Tom and Finn preparing for a night on the town.
Jay, Julia, Pat and Finn celebrate Lisa's 40th birthday.
After another hard night of hookers and gin, Finn passes out in the car seat.
